Any clinician in any area of healthcare, specifically more to learners working in community or inpatient therapy settings.
As a clinician, you may come across these individuals in any area of healthcare. The key challenge many clinicians face is having the skill to respond appropriately to a person with a personality disorder. This course explores how to identify and address the needs of individuals with personality disorders, emphasizing effective interaction, emotional validation, and maintenance of boundaries. You will develop a nuanced understanding of personality disorders across different clusters and their associated presentations, which will enable you to distinguish between outward emotional/behavioral responses and the core needs of individuals with a PD.
