Who is this for?

As an international student at Ontario Tech University our International TALENT Program (ITP) will provide you with exclusive, early access to Canadian employers who are looking for candidates just like you. Increase your chances of graduating with a job offer in hand.

OVERVIEW

We understand that finding employment after graduation can be challenging but TALENT is committed to providing international students the tools and opportunities needed to succeed. Building your network, developing a career plan, and addressing skills gaps are all areas that TALENT will provide tailored and personal assistance with.

 

Our Commitment: 

  • Career Development Plan – Our TALENT Concierge will work with students individually to develop a career plan.
  • Skills Development – Enroll in a TALENT microcredentials to develop job-ready skills.
  • Preferred Employer Events – Meet and network with employers who are excited to hire international students (virtually and/or in-person).
  • Job opportunities – Employment opportunities from our preferred partners shared exclusively with ITP students.

  • How much does the program cost?

    We are excited to announce that we will be offering the first year of the program for free!
  • Can I register half-way through the year?

    We are committed to providing our students the full suite of services to ensure the best chances for employment. We are unfortunately not able to accept registrants after the registration deadline.
  • Are the microcredentials included in my program registration fee?

    Yes! You will have access to 2 microcredentials of your choice to ensure you have the skills employers are seeking.
  • Do I have to be a third or fourth year student to enroll?

    No. It's never too early to start building your network and work on your career plan. We are continually adding new employers, microcredentials, and services thus you are able to register yearly and benefit from continuous, multi-year support.
