Overview

Audience

The Customer Experience Design microcredential is designed for individuals who wish to acquire the skills required to design and implement Customer Experience (CX) and Customer Success strategies. This course is highly relevant to a broad cross section of individuals that increasingly rely upon customer data, insights and strategies to effectively perform their role.

Course Description

Learners will develop the best practice knowledge and understanding of CX principles and Customer Success Management (CSM) methodologies, the role these play in different business contexts, and how to optimize customer value for particular customer segments. Learners will develop CX journeys to meet customer value in the context of broader business goals.

  • The course consists of 6 modules
  • Learners are encouraged to spend approx. 8-10 hours per module over six weeks
  • Learners must complete one assessment at the end of module six to be successful
  • Learners will develop a customer success strategy, and prepare a written report
  • The course is built to support project-based learning, giving learners the ability to demonstrate real work completion which validates their skills and knowledge

Upon successful completion of this microcredential, you will be awarded TALENT’s Digital Badge to enable you to effectively articulate this skill to employers.

Facilitator-led course start times can be found next to the course names and descriptions.
Microcredentials typically require between 8 and 10 hours a week of course work. For Facilitator- led microcredentials, there is one hour a week of on-line instruction from the facilitator.
Attendance during facilitated time is highly recommended as it provides the most value to the microcredentials with time to learn from industry experts, network with classmates, and deeper understanding of content. However, attendance is not mandatory and all sessions are recorded and posted afterwards on CANVAS.
What makes a TALENT microcredential different is the final assessment. There are weekly multiple choice questions that will guide your learning progress then learners are given a final assignment where they will apply their learning to a practical assignment. A facilitator will evaluate the final assignment and award a digital badge if the final assignement is completed successfully.
Microcredentials are 6 weeks long with 6-8 hours a week of course work. Self-paced and hybrid learners have the flexibility to complete the microcredential over three months at their own pace.
Microcredentials are a great way to differenciate yourself when searching for a job. The digital badge can be added to social platforms and resumes to demonstate your skills. TALENT works closely with learners to guide and advise on learner's career journeys.
